Dear Friends of the Stanton Theater,
We write this note to you as poppy gold again graces our hills and lifts our spirits. It’s been several years since we’ve communicated with you about our doings. Though quietly performed, our projects have achieved much: upgrades of lighting and sound equipment, reorganization of the sound booth and, most especially, renovation of Jo Mora’s design sketch of the building’s façade. This piece of original art will soon be mounted in the lobby for all to see.
As the Stanton again opens for an active role in our community, we’d like to ask your help with even greater work. In coming months, we will begin work to replace the auditorium’s eighty-year-old seating. As you can well see, supporting our mission is more important now than ever.
